hello new guy from newhampshire


just wanted to say hi and join the flathead crowd recently got a 51 f1 that was in storage want to make it my summer driver mostly original 239 v8 3 on the tree 60.000 original miles ? its a driveable project thanks pwb

And you re right on with the 'summer driver' routine. Drive the heck outa it for 9 months and when the salt hits the pavement, Hose it down, oil it up and park it til its ALL gone! I lived in New England in the late 60s and early 70s. Shame to see what happens to nice vehicles when the salt works it's evil. Nice truck, and Welcome to FTE!

i got the truck last fall did brakes and stuff to get it on the road after 350 miles this summer replaced about the whole frnt end king-pins pitmen arm etc. etc. my plan is to keep it as orig. as possible and drive it thanks pwb

Where have you been? Was looking for someone nearby for 10 years with an old Ford truck but no luck. You're about 40 miles from me. I finally sold mine a few weeks ago. Good luck with it!
