1997 Drivers Window stuck down..

1997 Drivers Window stuck down..
So, i could use some help.
Yesterday the window stopped working, stuck all the way down. I have the door panel off and whacked the window motor as I had read that might work, but nothing. There is a definite click when I press the button and the dome light dims slightly suggesting power.
What next? Should I replace the motor?
How can I get the window up at least?

The light dimming seems to indicate the motor is stuck, your only option probably is replacement. I own a Silverado that I have replaced passenger side twice, first time with a OEM from dealer second time one from Auto Zone (much easier on the wallet)

You can unbolt the window from the regulator and then prop it up inside of the door with something. If the window motor has gone bad in your Ford F150, we carry them on our website. Here's a link to them for you. F150 Window Motor
