Alright everyone had a scare today. I got in the truck today and drove about 2 miles to my destination. 1 hour later I go back out to the truck and she wouldn't start? I tried a 3 times and the service engine light was poping up and nothing would happened. I cked the volts from batteries and scangauge was saying 13.4 so it was not the batteries. On the third try I pumped the go pedal a couple of times and then went and looked under the hood nothing seemed out of place and while i was under there looking I had a buddy try to start first time he tried it fired right up. I then called my uncle and he said it could be my cps sensor?? This is the first time I have had anything happen like this and to be honest it has me worried. If you guys have any ideas of something to look for or to verify the problem please chime in and give me a piece mind that my truck will survive Hahaha .....thanks guys.......JOSH BYERLY
Sorry guys I forgot information yes there was noise the starter was engaging but the motor would not start. The lights did not dim until a couple of seconds turning the key over. And yes it was in neutral it is a 6 speed if that makes a difference.....thanks guys any idea of what could be going on is helpful.....JOSH BYERLY
Do you have a chip? Any way to check codes? The SES light was caused by something.
Yes I have a dp tuner in the truck.....and unfortunately no I don't have anyway of cking codes until I get to Newport in July ........this is the first time i have had the ses light come on and after it started it went away......I have a feeling this isn't going to be good

My thoughts are a possible loose chip. Without codes to point to the SES reasoning it can be tough. You could check the ICP connector for oil, possibly biasing the sensor and not seeing oil pressure causing a no start.

Forgive me for this but i think what your saying is ck the icp connector Bing saturated with oil? Which could be causing it to not read everything properly? I am still very new to all of this...haha....thanks again
