Fuel issue...I think!
I'm sorry if this issue has been posted before. I have looked around through the forum and have not seen anything with the exact issues I have.
I have a 86 f150 efi 302 auto with the c6 trans that will start and then die 30 secs to a minute later, then it will turn over and struggle, but it will remain running. This only happens in the morning and when I leave work for home in the evenings. While driving it just feels like it needs more power. It feels like there is a lag between pressing the pedal and the truck going forward. I had taken it to a shop and they performed the diagnostics and said the fuel pressure was fine.
Recently I have put in a new rear gas tank with fuel pump, sending unit, plugs, wires, cap, fuel filter, IAC, water pump, belts, hoses, air filter. I changed tranny filter and fluid and oilf filter and oil. I have used fuel injector cleaner a coulple of times as well. Any help would be appreciated....
I do not have a lot of experience but am handy with a wrench. I can figure most things out when pointed in the right direction. I also have a can of the seafom but was not sure if it would be good to use right now.

On a computer-controlled engine, I would ask the computer what it thinks is happening.

Sorry..I forgot to mention that I did take it to Oriell'y and they ran the codes and came up with 31. I believe it has something to do with egr. However the kid who did it didnt seem like he knew what he was doing and I kind of got fed up with it and left. I will have to try a different place or try the self test. Thanks for the reply.

The code 31 = EGR is for trucks without V8 engines.
I also made a code reading tutorial... link in my signature.

I appreciate the responses..... I had to go out of town on emergency business so I will have to wait till I get back to try the self test and check the evap voltage. Once again thanks for the replies. I will post results next week and see where we can go from there.... Hope you all have a good memorial day weekend!
