Im not getting a engine code at all but ive noticed gas mileage sucks maybe down to 10 now ..But the thing i notice most is say you running 55 and start a down hill decent not a mountain just a hill and when you start back up hill it studders a couple times and goes on but noooo check engine light ..ive also noticed after engine warm up you cut it off and engine wil rev up and down for about 3 mins and level off to idle ..
Ive cleaned egr sensor it was sticky and ran some seafoam thur system but nothing ...I m wondering if tps is going bad or is erg valve is sticking not sensor?
If no codes and ran a KOEO test I would think it would be something fuel related. Filter or pump possibly. Float in the pump going out or a clogged fuel filter. Sea foam wont clean a dirt fuel filter or fix a broken fuel pump.
i know but ive had egr problems before truck wouldnt idle at stop and cleaned and ran fine .. i cant figure out why its like a miss or skip and runs fine after
but it always when youre on a hill or say climbing a hill ive ran the dog sh-t of it and im sure its no carbon issue
IMO you might be onto something with the sensors. Clean the TPS, IAC, and throttle good, which you should be doing anyway.
But it's all moot until you do a fuel pressure test. Don't recall exactly what 5.0 specs are for PSI, but I think they should be around 50 at idle. Make sure you're not getting grossly less than 50.

Idle Air Control. The little cylindrical thingamabobber with an electrical plug, that sits on top of the throttle. It gets full of crap from the EGR and PCV nastiness that gets drawn into the intake.
