Supply Issues Regarding New Orders?

Supply Issues Regarding New Orders?
Can anyone tell me if Ford is experiencing a supply issue that has delayed builds in the past month? I ordered my new truck on April 16th and am being told by my dealer that due to a part supply issue, that my build date has been pushed out to June 5th. Can someone please shed some light on this for me? Should I accept it and wait patiently some more or be totally pissed at my dealer and yank my order and start over since that is basically what I am doing today?? Heck, why not just wait for the new 2013 right??

I think you have a bad dealer... not bad as in problematic, but bad sales numbers. Mine was ordered a few days before yours and I haven't seen it yet. Dealer says next week, Ford says today. We'll see. I have noticed many others getting their rigs within six weeks, so I think it is the dealer you chose (same boat I think I am in). Low numbers = low priority.

. THANK YOU!! I called them and gave them my order# and Dealer# and they confirmed that my order was placed on the day my dealer said, so at least I know my dealer wasn't lying to me. Also she confirmed a build of June 4th. This is still in line with the original time frame quoted to me in the beginning of 6-8 weeks. She was able to give me my VIN and assured me that the truck was scheduled to be built. It was nice to email my own VIN to the dealer to show them that they need to be more on top of their business than have to have their customer go around them and go to Ford direct for this information. 
I tried the VIN number lookup to get my window sticker but got the error
-File Does Not Begin With %pdf-, I think someone said that the Window Sticker would not load until the actual day the build starts, is this right?

I thought we were in a slow economy. I'm seeing these trucks everywhere. Sounds like Ford is having a hard time keeping up with demand.
I have ordered my Icon lift over three weeks ago. I also have RBP wheels on order. They won't be here until the first week on next month.
I could understand them slow building a Texas A&M truck
, but I guess Ford and the third party parts makers are all selling a bunch of product.

ordered mine 2/29/12 took delivery 4/9/12. dealer gave me standard speech about 6-8 weeks. it was clearly less

Just keep checking and the day it pops up, add 6 days and that is the day your truck will be built.
