I just got word from the dealer that my truck ETA is May 20th!!!!! How about them apples. I ordered it February 19th. Is anyone else having these types of issues?
The funny thing is my first 2004 truck came in to the dealer in 26 days. The dealer had an order number on this new truck saying it would be built the week after I ordered it. Now the schedule has been updated to be 8 weeks longer. I guess I just don't understand the logic and was trying to find out if anyone else heard anything about this. PS - this truck was ordered to replace my current truck after the engine issues so Ford is not making a read cent on any of it. In fact they're taking my current truck back so the sooner they get it out of my hands the less miles it'll have on it for a re-sale....
Just beat the heck out of the one you got....have fun till you get the new one...hey do you get the new rebates....cause they're gonna go up..HA, tell them they owe you $$$ too....Heee...heee.
Maybe they sent my original one back to the factory for new slipcovers so they can give it to you....that takes time ya know... :-staun
I'm not sure about the rebate thing. I need to compare the rebate that I got along with my MSRP vs. the rebates when the truck gets here with the MSRP at that time. If my hunch is right the cost of the truck will have gone up and the reabte will also have gone up to make it all a wash. Also, don't you need to change your sig? 5SPD?

What a comforting thought...Ford still hasn't even pulled my order yet.
Originally posted by turbotom Ordered my Feb 5, just got word that it has been released from the plant and is awaiting shipping. Should be at the dealer in about about a week .
Can they tell you what is holding yours up? Maybe it is an option that you can do without holding up the process. Just a thought
I did just that. The problem is I'm dealing with my Zone Manager on this truck since it's a replacement of my current 2004 F-350. He's a little difficult to get in touch with sometimes but I did ask him the question and I'm waiting for a reply.
I see you basically ordered the same truck I did so I can't imagine there's a hold on the engines and no one buys manual trannies anymore so they should have one of them kicking around for me too. I'll certainly give up the power slider if I can have the truck in less time. We'll see.....
