I currently have a Scanguage II. I am preparing soon to add some gauges to the pillar. I know I need to get fuel pressure and EGT. Are there any other analog guages I need to get? Most of the kits I have seen have 3 or 4 pods but I have seen one with two as well. The SG II may not be there forever because I plan to probably get an SCT TSX in the next year. Not sure if it can output the guages like the SG II can, so I want to make sure I am covered.
You should be able to get 2 gauge pods if you don't got the kit route.
EGT's and Fuel PSI would be the ones that our computers don't monitor that I think are important.
Look into if the Xtreme can handle external probes. I know the DashDAQ can, I would be surprised if the TSX wouldn't as well, especially since it's newer then what I use.
If it can handle external probes, then the question is, how long until you get the new toy.

After doing some further research, I do not believe it does because its all wireless. I may go with the Livewire wire, it can handle an external EGT probe. As for as how long until I get it, not too sure. PRetty scared to do it until I get the head studs done. I have heard that there are tunes out there for stock studded trucks, but you still do not get your full potential out of the thing.

Be careful with the Livewire monitor. There has been well documented screen/power issues that seem to make it a 50/50 gamble that you'll get a good one and then if you do get a bad one, their fix last I read/heard is to just send a new monitor with the same chances of it being good or not.
You could always go with the DashDAQ and then use a regular SCT tuner for the tunes or could see if the CTS will do external probes as well.

The CTS will do external probes. I have it and really like it. In fact it along with the Dashdaq is the only two OBDII gauges I recomend (of course the SGII as well, but it's not in the same catagory).
The other problem with getting the livewire is, although you can add EGT gauge to it, you still can't add the fuel pressure gauge.
