Start out the day with a bad day at work. Go home early. Then we decide to take my daughter to get a new swimsuit for the swim team. The wifes bmw starts running hot. So we limp it home. My new to me edge evo came today so I took the old hypertech programmer out. We jumped in my truck to go get something for supper. When we get home I put the edge in and program the truck again. Start her up and back out the drive way. The water in fuel light comes on. When I put the truck in drive it rattles loud for a couple seconds and dies. Now I'm in the middle of the road. The truck starts rite back up. Drop in drive same thing. I'm wondering if its the edge so I return it back to stock again. Start it up again. (Still in the middle of the road) drop in drive. Dies again. Let off the brake it rolls in the ditch. So I start it again and drop in reverse. She trys to back up. Now I got this big beast stuck in my ditch. A guy stops in a old bronco and pulls me out. When he does the culvert cut my tire. Then he had to pull my truck back in the driveway. I checked the tranny fluid. Its good. What is my next step????

i have a guy thats gonna bring a scanner over tomorrow. he thinks its a shift cylonoid in the tranny.
she will go in reverse and back up but when i drop her in drive..... rattle and die. i have returned the truck back to stock so no programmer at all. the evo is a nice set of gauges!!
