Someone please tell me where my IAC valve (idle air control) is located. I have 95,000 miles on it and I think it might be original. I think I read it is cleanable (i.e. as preventative maintenance in this case)? If so, with what. Please advise.
The IAC is the valve on the driver's side of the throttle body. It can be unbolted from the throttle body. I use throttle body cleaner and a set of small brushes to clean it. Make sure all the carbon is gone.
