I believe they do. I have had the best luck with Goodyears vs any other tire brand. Only ones I ever HATED were BFGs. Biggest issue I have with tires is grip....that's what I wan them to do...in all weather. Shorter wear life sucks.... but I never had tires last, regardless of brand.
lots of people have. i just wouldn't trust them. i mean you are only talking about the only thing separating you from the road. some tires have a hard enough time staying together when they are brand new. i just don't understand why people skimp out on tires. makes absolutely no sense to me.

Kellys were great back in the 90s, used to run em on all our ranch trucks, then quality just kept goin down down down, now we run Toyo M-55s great tire holds up well towing and on gravel roads, better than you would think in snow by looking at em.
I would be all for american tires.. except i doubt there is any, even if they are US owned theyre all made china anyway. And quality is quality no matter where its made.
As far as treadwrights.. im for em, but towing in 110+ degree weather is not something i would try them out on. In fact i origionally got these MT's for the most part to get them capped since theyre such an excellent casing. Alas theyre not big enough for my likes.
I agree it's the 110+ temp's that worry me, my nieghbor put on a set of toyo's and only got 27,000 mile's out of them! serves him right for ownin a Dodge.lol

Tire dealer sold me a set of Nexen for $600. Needed to be replaced at 25-30k miles.
My trucks got a utility bed with tools and an extra fuel tank and weights 7250lbs all day and that's not including trailer or caterpillar I pull from job to job. I do not drive hard or fast but was not real happy with the mileage. The only other tire I have put on it was Firestones and they were the better tire for the money. Heard good things about the BFG commercial ta just never wanted to put out the $200 a tire people want for it.
Too many nails and screws laying around on new construction jobs to justify the better tires. I've lost quite a few tires to large punctures. I learned that a wooded grade stake broken of at a nice sharp angle can cut the sidewall of a tire. Even got a 1/2 drill bit out of one.
Yeah I just priced some nexen's online for $528.00 for 4 from chinamart.Thinkin about just running the cheaper tire's because with this heat, It does not matter how good the tire is, the sun will destroy it anyway. it even distorted the body on my ATV that was parked in the shade.lol
I had a set of Firestone Transforce H/Ts on my F250, those were really good tires. Before that I had Uniroyal Laredos, and those took FOREVER to wear out
Maxxis are real good tires I think. The two front tires on our dually are made by maxxis. They came with the truck when we got it, we went to get the rear tires replaced they were coopers and they were so dry rotted you could fit quarters in the cracks( replaced with firestone transforce). The tire tech said the rear coopers were 6yrs old and the front maxxis were 16yrs old ! They are still alright 1/6in. of tread left, one has two nails in it and still holds air. They are just now developing small tiny hair line slits in the tread grooves.
If you really want a set of tires to last buy them and set them out in the yard for a couple of years and wait for the rubber to harden. Just don't expect to get good traction out of them.
I bought a truck that had been sitting one time and the tires had cracks from dry rot. I thought they wouldn't last long seeing as they only had about 30% but they lasted almost a year and I can't tell you how many red lights and stop signs I almost slid through in the rain. I still catch my self slowing down for green lights that might turn red.
