I agree it's the 110+ temp's that worry me, my nieghbor put on a set of toyo's and only got 27,000 mile's out of them! serves him right for ownin a Dodge.lol
How...? The MTs when i bought em had 5/32's on them.. and were cupped out on the inside and ive put over 10k on them since and they still have 2-3/32's

The tire tech said the rear coopers were 6yrs old and the front maxxis were 16yrs old ! They are still alright 1/6in. of tread left, one has two nails in it and still holds air. They are just now developing small tiny hair line slits in the tread grooves.
They are, but all my experience with them has learned me theyre great for traction, less great for mileage. However they were both MT's

I bought a truck that had been sitting one time and the tires had cracks from dry rot. I thought they wouldn't last long seeing as they only had about 30% but they lasted almost a year and I can't tell you how many red lights and stop signs I almost slid through in the rain. I still catch my self slowing down for green lights that might turn red.
Lot of truth to that, idk about no traction, but i know an old guy who swears by this and im guessin hes right. He will buy a set and throw em in his garage and put the ones from the garage on. Swears he gets almost double the life.. i doubt he gets that much but im sure it makes a difference. Seems like half-tread used tires will last more than half as long as the same tire new. They dont chip out as bad on gravel roads either... but do ride rougher.
