Hahah, sounds like we're on pretty even footing. I didn't even know a few of those were options. My light sensor for the door is so rusted from sitting that I have to pull it out to get it on. I do have a tach. The truck was pretty obviously ordered to pull hard, not much else. I even have a class 3 hitch, but for the life of me can't find a wiring harness back there.

Interestingly enough, the rear seat in my truck not only has the folding seat back, but also adjusts fore and aft.

On a serious note though, it really is in the brochure. I'll upload a picture in a second.

Yeah, I'll probably add the switch when I eventually install an alarm.

I'm going to keep an eye out for a seat latch assembly too.

I wonder if my truck even had a single option. It doesn't have any of the ones mentioned in this thread. (no trim, extra lights or anything)

You guys should have a crew cab, power windows and locks were only on the front doors. The rear doors don't even have courtesy light switches.

The coat hook takes the cake in my opinion.

I don't think anybody can top that one.

Wow, this thread has gotten a lot of talk.

So, it looks like 1980 (before a certain date) could have a non-folding seat. What a PITA that would be.

Get one of these, it connects inline in your existing rear harness. I got mine from Amazon:

Thanks for the tip C! There's an area of gathered wiring harness by the hitch that I originally thought was the harness plug. I'll have to look under the electrical tape and see if there's a splice like that there.

My truck was a pretty basic Custom.

Now it's a loaded Ranger Lariat.
