1974 bed dimensions

Can anyone give me exact bed dimensions for a 1974 Ford F150 long box? I'm looking for a rubber bed mat for my 1966 F100 but DeeZee only goes back to 1974. I'm wondering if a 74 differs much from a 66. Can anyone tell me? I need exact dimensions (distance ahead of/behind wheel wells, etc.). Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up. Good drawing. However, I can't seem to identify exactly how far back from the front of the box that the wheel wells sit. Maybe I missed it. Also, doesn't this generation of Ford trucks have the rounded wheel wells. I mean rounded where the wells meet the bed. If I remember correctly, they're not square shouldered like on my 66.

The 73-79 share the came bed and they do have the rounded edges. The length from the tail gate to wheel well is 2' 6", from the front of the wheel well to the front of the bed is 3', the bed is 5' 6" wide and the amount of space between the wheel wells is roughly 4' 3". Getting the dimensions is kinda hard because the wheel well is rounded.

Thanks for the measurements. It sounds like the wheel wells on my 66 are about one inch further back than these. Bummer!

Rhino line it! a bed mat will only serve to promote rust.

Naaah. This is a 47k mile all-original truck. Never sees water. Just want something to protect the original paint in the bed.

Keep in mind that a bed liner will chafe your paint rather than protect it.

Thanks for the heads up. The truck is used very sparingly so I think it'll probably be ok. But good to know.
