Dumb horn question

Keeping with the theme...

I need a pic of the horn mounted on a 66.

I bought a couple horns but have no idea which one is the correct one or where it mounts.

My current horn is a giant trumpet mounted on the firewall, although effective, it looks like it should be used by Chuck Mangione.

The style horns shown in the link OldHarley posted are what was on my '65. not sure if "Chuck M." used these or not.

Thanks, I went to a car show 2nite and looked a 66 over. I have the correct horn and mount. I tlooks like i have to pull the grill to get it in though.

On the driver side there are 2 dimples that look like they mark the location for a 2nd horn and there is an electrical plug there that matches the plug for the right side horn.

That 2nd plug has no power to it. What is it for?

In '66, 2nd horn was an option.

Correct, plug should not have power, or horn would blow continuously, since it is grounded to frame.

No need to pull the grille, it is somewhat of a tight fit, though.

The horns are the same 1958/72 Passenger Car/Truck, 1961/72 Econoline & 1966/72 Bronco. 1973 and later horns will work, but look different.

Standard Cabs came with the High pitched horn only. Custom Cabs came with both High & Low pitched horns.
