Well, the boys Pi$$ed me of enough that I chose not to attend opening day at the track today. First time in many years.
Decided to go down to my cottage and drop the boat in.
Besides really screwing up my arm an the boat lift, not a bad day.
Here's a few pics.
Well, you can figure out what this is I guess, getting ready to stick her in.
Rear of the boat
This is the view from the top of my hill looking down to my dock
Yeti, thats a tough spot to be in, race track or lake . I think you made the right choice! As busy as we have been at work there has'nt been time to do anything else and your view of the lake sure does look relaxing! Good looking boat with a S/D to pull it also. Then with a steak and some cold one's thrown in,Damn, life is GOOD!

Our opening night was Sat, our guys have known that for..welll since last year. And it never fails that everybody waits till the last day to get there cars prepped.
This time 6 of the 15 guys we maintain decided to they wanted to show up Sat morning to get scaled and set up.
Made me so mad I just walked out. How do they think they can compete if they wait till the last minute to prep.
Then they ask why can't I run up front, why does it push, why, why.
I guess they figure, that I have nothing better to do than baby sit them.

Um..ya ya aren't yours?????
No, it's just the glare of the sun, but that would look kewl!
You're gonna try to tell m that racers would wait til the last minute to work on their cars? I find that hard to believe.
Well I guess I should shut this off so I can go out to the shop and start building my engine. We start racing next Sunday
ok,ok.....I'm actually ready to go other than changing the oil and putting the new tires on
