OBD not working

OBD not working

My F450 - V10 OBD does not appear to be working. I have located and checked the fuse (#26) Reader works on other vehicles any suggestions

What year? Have you checked the wiring from OBD connector to PCM?

The truck is a 2004 class B+ motor home

Fuse #26 should be for the airbags. Fuse #12 should be the one you need to check.

Thanks, sorry for the rookie mistake E-450 not F and the Owners guide says fuse 26

Whichever fuse works the cigar lighter also works the OBDII.

did you ever get your obd2 working?...I have an e450, '05, v10 and my obd2 won't link....power is on, etc, etc,...also won't link on my '06 e150. this seems to be a very common problem, but I have not found a fix, but still searching....J...

OBD

I located a second fuse under the dash, I had been looking at the fuse box under the hood. If your cig. lighter is working and the OBD didn't work in your 150 and its lighter is working then I would say the OBD is faulty. thanks John
