My new family car...1997 F800

I just purchased a 1997 F800 Crew Cab for the purpose of hauling a 5th wheel and my family (I have 5 kids and a wife which means we no longer fit in my F350). The guy I purchased the F800 from also has a 60 inch semi truck sleeper cab that I am going to attach to my crew cab to give me that 3rd row of seats. Since I am new to owning huge trucks like this, I was hoping I could get some feedback. Any suggestions? What am I missing? Has anyone out there done something like this before? Am I crazy? And finally, the truck has a PTO drive and hydraulics (the previous owner is keeping the crane, but leaving all the hydraulic and PTO stuff), what kind of cool stuff could I do with that?

That is one of the coolest ideas for a family rig I have ever heard!!! Maybe you could run a generator off that PTO? Then your really free to go anywhere.
Good luck, & keep the pix coming!!!!

I built a "RV" out of a F700 and a U-haul box.
If you want any kind of MPG you might want to put a higher gear in that rear axle.

Nice! That looks like an old union pacific railway service truck with the track wheel assemblies removed!
