I have a motorhome on a Ford chassis. It is a 2011 Triton V10. I had a fus blow in the 2 12 volt DC sockets. I was told that the #16 fuse (20 amp), under the dash was the problem. The fuse checked good, as did all the other fuses in that panel. Is there another fuse that could be the problem?
Sometimes the fuses will check as good with a test light and using only those little test points in their tops. Pull the fuse and inspect it or test for continuity.
If your dash has the lighter socket and power point check both fuses this same way.
If the fuses check good for continuity there might be a loose wire to or on the socket itself or the socket has worn out.

We have checked the wire and replaced the fuse in quesion. No loose wires. Is there a fuse in the engine compartment that relates to the 12 volt sockets?
If the fuse that supplies the outlets is good, you need to break out a meter or test lamp and verify that power is coming into the fuse and then search along the circuit path to see where it is lost.
