You could source a set of old chrome round or square ones that were sold at Western Auto, JC Whitney ect, and they would be correct for the period.
Wiring, i would use a relay out by the battery and use the switch on low amps draw. Heavier 12 gauge to the lamps and 14/16 for the switch. You could use a single speed wiper switch and mount it in one of the spares in the dash, Also mount and indicator lamp in the cluster.
C5RZ-19B532-B .. Rotunda Fog Lamp Installation Kit-Amber Lens-Includes swotch, two lamps & mounting brackets / Lamp only: C5RZ-15200-B.
Applications: ALL 1965/72 FoMoCo vehicles. Rotunda was a FoMoCo line of accessories. All the above are obsolete, no one has any.
There is no picture, not in the truck or car parts catalogs, not in the 1965 nor 1966 'full line' accessory brochures.
I would surmise that these lamps are listed/shown in the Rotunda Accessory Brochures, but who has one?
The kit part numbers are listed in the accessory section of the 1957/68 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (not available on a CD).
The individual lamp part numbers are from the 1965/72 Ford Passenger Car Parts Catalog (available on a CD).
This topic was discussed several months ago. I installed the fog lights on my 1965 F100, just after I bought it new and I believe Boss9F100 chimed in, said he has a set. Don't recall which type.
NOTE: You buy the original spotlights for these trucks from Unity (unityusa.com), who Ford bought them from. Unity still offers 'period' fog lamps, but AFAIK, are not the same as the C5RZ's.
The main reason I was asking is because I would like to a "Fog Light" switch with a bezel that looks like the others. Is there such a thing?
Nope. These lamps could be installed on everything. I couldn't find a pic of the switch, but I did find the part number: C5AZ-15A214-A. There's no **** or bezel listed for it, so I would assume that they came with the switch.
I would also assume this switch included a bracket and the whole tamale bolted under the dash, because these lamps could be installed on everything.
If Boss9F100 still has the lamps, he may have the switch or recall what it looks lke.
