G'Day all. I am about to fit a pair of amber fog lights to my 64 f600 and was wondering if Ford used a factory switch and if so what did it look like and if it was in dash or fitted below? thanks Brian.

Ford did not offer fog (amber lens) or road lamps (clear lens) for these trucks.
If present, were purchased from auto parts stores or from Unity (unityusa.com).
Thanks for that info. on the trucks, I guess if any one would know it would be you. Did Ford offer extra lamps on passenger cars in 64? eg mustang/ falcon. Brian.
Ford offered round accessory driving (clear lens) and fog (amber lens) lights for 1965/70 Passenger Cars, 1970/72 Maverick/Comet & 1971/72 Pinto/Bobcat.
Depending on the vehicle, could be bumper or upper splash pan mounted. These could also be installed on the trucks front bumpers.
See 15200 (C5RZ-15200-A or C5RZ-15200-B) in parts catalog text section pic. The switch (C5RZ-15A214-A) was located under the dash, mounted to a bracket.
The only pic of these lamps is in the accessory brochures, the parts catalog has none. Both these lamps are obsolete.
Similar fog and driving lamps are still available from Unity (unityusa.com).
They do ask a pretty penny on eBay for some NOS in the boxes. These seem to have the clear lens. I saw a set earlier this week with the amber lens but they might have sold.
Thanks for the link.If you think that's expensive try an exchange rate on ebay of about 70 cents in the dollar plus freight Australian, which would bring it to approx. $700 for a couple of mustang fog lights ( Z in # number) that's why the price.
On reflection the f-600 bumper bar may be to high to be effective for fog light's and I think water would get into the lamp if mounted upside down below the bar. as they say back to the drawing board. Brian.
Funny how a lot of stuff doubles in price when it fits a Mustang. I was looking for an 8" rear end housing for a Model A we're doing. Housings at the wrecking yard were $75, until we measured it out and found we needed one that'd fit a '68 Mustang. The wrecking yard didn't have one, but when I did find one, all of a sudden it was $200.
