He also made the mistake of telling me to resist Did not go quite the way he planned I have not had the pepper spray class but, Our platoon Sergeant did think it was rather funny to toss a CS canister in the center of the group though.

I have seen some pretty big guys go down with pepper spray, so I can only imagine how bad it is.

Anyway, tonight was a bust for me. I hope everyone has a good weekend.
What?!?! They don't put a group of 8-10 guys in a trailer, and toss in the tear gas? Things sure have changed in 30 years.

New to this

Hi folks,

I am new to this my actual name is Chris and user name pretty much describes view of life . I have a 1976 that i was given to me by my wife. She is starting to think that it may not have been avery good idea .

I pulled the engine mid last year and have just been trying to get the money together to rebuild it. The engine is a 4.9L inline 6 that as close as i can figure it had some where in the area of 3 to 400,000 miles on it. I am looking to get about that much out of it after I rebuild. I do have aquestion for you folks I am looking for an exhaust manifold off of 6 that was in a 1976 f550 any body got an suggestions?

Chris

Welcome to FTE Chris! As for an exhaust manifold from a 76 F550, I would check local junkyards, or Craigslist, or even ebay. other than that, I don't know where you will find one.

Hey everyone happy May! Spent last night in VC with some girlfriends. Stayed at the Silver Queen in the same room we had a strange experience in last time, buy everything was quiet. The ghosts must have been busy elsewhere as there was a full house. Had a great time as usual.

Good morning everyone. Tonight and last night were better than Friday was. Not where they should have been, but at least we were kept busy.

Oh, they still do that. Only ours was a 20X20 brick room. Our Drill Sergeant's just had a twisted sense of humor and like to throw a canister at us from time to time

Chris, Welcome to FTE and the Nevada Chapter. I don't know anyone with the manifold you are looking for. However, I am always talking to people about parts, so I will keep my ears open and see what I can find.

Welcome Chris.

The 4.9 ex manifolds have a tendency to break. I would replace it with the manifolds from a later model, fuel injected 4.9. There are plenty of them around, cheap. There is a down pipe that fits, I will find the number for you. The split manifolds from the later engines flow better than the one you need to replace. Much more efficient.

OK, here is the number for the down pipe: It is a Walker number, available through most parts stores. The number is #45166.

Welcome Goofy! Enjoy your stay...everyone here is great to chat with!

I hope everyone is having a great day! I'm still waiting to hear on my job, so it's driving me nuts! However, I heard good news from unemployment today. They stated I have another extension waiting after June 1st. I just pray the guy isn't wrong. LOL If that's true, it makes me relax a bit about waiting for my background to come in on my armed security job now...well, sort of.

However, they told me to talk to JobConnect and they "may" pay for my armed security licenses. That would be awesome since it's already cost me well over $300!!!! But I have a feeling they are going to say they don't reimburse and that I'm screwed. Let's hope not, shall we? LOL

Everyone have a great Monday!
