Nevada May BS Thread
The loan officer told me of a guy who is refinancing a house and may be interested in selling. The house appraised for $100,000 so with him going for a refi.... If it don't work, oh well. At least I tried.
It is now Saturday and now you must pick one of those projects that were on your mind all week long ... "so many choices--- so little time" good luck !!!
Or you could go to the racetrack and watch Donna apply band-aids to bo bo's
and enjoy the races .... stay cool out there Donna !!! Please, everybody have a safe and productive day !!!!
Have a wonderful Sunday and hopefully everyone can relax and enjoy the day!
Don't forget the solar eclipse sometime today!...it will be best viewed from the western states...but hopefully we all get a glimpse!...don't forget to NOT look into the sun though unprotected!!!...

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend...I did!
I got asked out on a date by one of the racers.
Ofcourse I had to decline, but it was the thought that counts. As for any medical treatment...I didn't have to apply anything except mosquito repellent to one of the Jr. Racers on Saturday. I think we all were getting eaten alive that day! Today wasn't nearly as bad thankfully. There were a few mosquito's this morning, but by 10am they were gone. I'll be working out there again on April 2 & 3. Races start at 9:30am if anyone is interested in going.

Have a great rest of your Sunday & stay cool! (I just realized I need to reset the date on my camera...LOL!)
I was looking at lockers for my axles. Mainly the Detroit, ARB air locker, and the E-locker. I am leaning towards the Detroit mainly because of cost. However, because this upgrade is still down the road a bit, I have time to gather info and opinions. Has anyone used any of these in their rigs? If so, what's your take on them?

Well, it's moving week. Not even close to being packed as much as I'd like to be.

Also found out that my new job won't let me have the 2 days off that they said i could have off for the move (Fri/Sat). I'm really PO'ed about that! Account manager said it was fine when I applied for the job, when my supervisor started my schedule on my very first training day and I mentioned it, he said he "will see what he can do"
and then the very next day, he said he couldn't give them to me. WTF?!
So, he mentions that I can call the account manager because he would have to override it with overtime for someone else to work my shift. So, I do that and the AM says he has nothing to do with it. Again, WTF?! So, then the second supervisor that is training me says he is going to see what he can do about switching people with me and then that upsets the first supervisor. It's a mess.
So, the second supervisor is still trying to go up the chain of command to see if he can get me Fri/Sat off for me to move my family. Personally, I think it's a bunch of crap. I admit that I don't work until 2 pm each day, but it's still really hard to try and move an entire house from 8:30 am until 12:30pm because that's when I would have to shower and get ready for work and drive into work. 4 hours to move an entire house?! Ya, right.
Plus, I can't call off because they know I'm not sick. So, I'm really screwed now. Plus, you know they already had someone set up to work before I came on board, so why would it be a problem to just use that person instead?! That's why I'm super PO'ed about it!!!!
Oh and then I find out that the AM that said he has nothing to do with it, gave his 2 weeks notice and is leaving the company...go figure.
Sorry, I had to vent. I'm totally freaking out because my wife has a bad back and can't do much, so I don't know how this is going to get done. All I can try and do in those 4 hrs is move the big stuff and then I can move the boxes of stuff with my truck in the couple of days afterwards before work each day. Joy.

Figure I will do a little at a time.
