A day to hump it !!!
As we advance to this holiday weekend we must plan for it... more charcoal and lighter, more goodies to cook on the grill, and MORE beverages (adult and otherwise) for the coolers then 
but do it all safely... Please !!!
As for you FTE'rs in Northern Nevada ... what's with the big
there ??? I'm not sure if any of you live in the fire zone but, please be safe. Please keep the rest of us informed if you're OK... Donna, Bruce, and all the others be safe.

Dave - Sounds like a good deal! I hope the weather stays cooler. Will just make it easier on us to move. Supposedly, my supervisor tells me I'll have the day off Saturday, but I'm still keeping it in my head that I have to work, just in case. 
But so far a few have stated they will be here to help on Sat morning, so that's great. I appreciate the help and it will be great meeting you as well. Meanwhile I'll be packing as much as I can today & tomorrow because these are my normal 2 days off from work.

Gotta love U-haul. They just changed the pickup location of my truck for Saturday and thus, the pickup time because that place doesn't open as early. Ugggghhh...so, now I have to adjust the time of everyone coming over to help. LOL Gotta love it.

ANNOUNCEMENTA VERY "MOVING" AND INSPIRATIONAL TEAMWORK EVENT AND MEETING AT MAT'S HOUSE ON SAT 5/26/2012 @ 9:00 AM. More that attend the shorter the meeting and the weather will be cooler too ...LET'S DO THIS !!!

I would be there but for two things. It is a Saturday and I live WAY too far to attend the "event"
I did get out to my cousins place and filled my truck with junk destined for the dump. How the heck did I accumulate so much junk? Did not get anything done for my suspension though. The wind has been blowing a lot. Wind and grinding is not a good mix.
Damn, I need a garage.

Hey Jeff, not a problem you're "way out" and I wouldn't expect anybody to drive that far. My place to Mat's is about 70 mi one way for me ... and Gee I must go near my favorite breakfast place in SW Vegas so It's all good for me. I guess those winds will be here for the weekend

As for the fire, It's in Topaz Ranch Estates near Smith Valley. Not sure if we have any FTE'ers there. I haven't heard anything as of today, but I know it was still going yesterday & was approx. 2-3 miles from Smith Valley. They were possibly going to have to call for an evacuation. I don't know what came of it. If anyone else has further info. please update us!
