I went with the supplied clamps too. But I have noticed that they smash the metal and make it oblong, makes them hard to take apart of needed. I wish I would have spent the extra and bought the bands. Oh well. Oh ya if you really want it to sound good take it for a drive down a road with buildings or under a bridge/tunnel, that turbo whistle sound AWESOME!!!!
Yeah they did smash a little and yeah I tried pulling apart a section-it was a no go. I figure it's on there, and it's not coming off! If I have to, I can have it cut and welded if need be. And yeah, I'll be looking for tunnels! There's a long one under the LB airport just a few blocks from me!. Guess I'll hit that after I drop off my son at school tomorrow!
