power door lock

power door lock

does any body know how one is suposed to change the solinoid in the door on my 97 f250 .I have had the door panel off and that thing is down at the bottom and I cant figure out how it comes out

If I remember right there some rib bits holding it on that you have to drill out. When you put the new one in you have to use some small nuts and bolts.

That figers ,Must be my month to be messing with crap thats put in with tamper proof screws just had to do ignition on my bike and it was a real pain .thank for the info

only one rivet holds it in u can drill it out on the outside of the door then unhook it from this inside install is reverse it is pretty easy to do

it is a large rivet say the outside is about 5/8ths in diameter

Yep, 1/4 incb pop rivet, or blind rivet... Drill it out with 1/4 inch drill or grind head off. Thw rod is held to latch asembly with a olastic keeper..
