You want the total weight of the truck?

I think Dano is on the right track but I have to ask why you need to know this information?

If Dano's idea is wrong you could hit up a rock quarry and get them to weigh the truck for you on their scales.

Gross vehicle weight on the sticker is max LOADED weight and has no bearing on the weight of the truck. Likewise, subtracting payload from gross vehicle weight is not gonna get you very close.

You need to either have it weighed on a real scale, or find a spec sheet somewhere which might get you close but it will never be exact due to the variety of options.

Aha, I just checked the spec page on 2008 F150's, and they do list "base curb weight" which is unloaded weight for various styles:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/specs/20...rd-f150-1.html

Is your camper a trailer or an onboard camper? If it is onboard, it must be under the payload listed on the door sticker when combined with all passengers and other items loaded in the truck.

Good luck,
George

The quarries near me weigh you as you enter and then again as you leave so that should give you the weight of the truck itself.
