One more thing...I just did this repair this weekend...ran it to town and back and found that I had ruptured the 0-ring on the non-serviceable plug, so I tore it back down and did the kit with the new plug and o-ring from international....it fired right up this weekend when I changed out just the o-rings..but no it won't fire up...
I split this post off into its own thread and moved it down to the 7.3L forum. It's much easier for us to help you out if you have a thread of your own, and the folks down here are the right people to ask!
It sometimes takes a while to get it fired up again. Have you checked the oil level in the HPOP reservoir? Are you certain the little plastic ball is correctly installed? If that is out of place then it probably won't start.
Going to tear it down again this am...that's what I was thinking last night but was hoping it wasn't the ball issue....it must of moved when i put the non-serv plug back in....read Guzzle's info on his webpage and points to no starts....http://www.dieselorings.com/docs/service_plug.pdf
Check and charge your batteries you will be surprised how quickly even new batteries will be too low for the computer to fire the injectors. Just because it cranks good doesn't mean it will fire. Put a charger on them and then check there voltage while cranking.
thought it was the ball in HPOP last night also after the oil pressure and fuel pressure were all good to the HPOP....had to tear it all back out again...found the ball on the other side...No damage...to the ball...inserted back where it was suppose to be...put it all back in....said a little prayer and ZOOOM.....fired right up.... One thing about it...if I have to do it again...EASY.....once you get past all the stuff to get to it...just follow the directions on here by the others and you can get right through it... Just watch out the pesky little ball doesn't slip over when you change that NON_SERVICEABLE plug....LOL
