Identifying 1946ish pickup
I believe the vin number is 20246H43194
Decoded 202=1/2 ton
46 = 1946
H = windsor Ontario
Job number 43194
Paint M1800-B Yosemite green not sure what the "B" indicates
Trim MC-16810E Not sure what this indicates
Engine 6E-3379 I believe indicates a 8 Cyl flathead
Can someone clarify this.
first post here on FTE. I recently acquired a 46/47 Canadian Ford truck from Alberta, Canada and I am trying to research/decode the data plate. I would like to figure out the correct year and any other info pertaining to the trim code etc. Data plate info is:
Engine 6E-13202
Trim MC18001-E
Paint M-1800-P
Serial 202H47-78195
i am aware that M-1800 is Yosemite green. Any idea what the P is for? I have found a few references to the MC-18001-E but nothing explained what the trim and options may have been. Any ideas?
Any help would be tremendously appreciated!
