Model numbers help
Anyone have any useful links to Model number searches for some old ford trucks? I couldn't find the serial number of the frame but I did get the numbers off of the little plate on the firewall. Here is the one. The last number starting with a T was one that was stamped onto the firewall on the drivers side under the plate. The 3rd truck didn't have his number though

These truck serial numbers are Canada specific - nothing like US numbers. Here's a couple of links that might help.

Guessing here:
First one I'd say is 42 C-engine?
Second is '44. G designation is 239 flathead with 4 spd trans
Third is '45 and again G ='s 239 flathead w/ 4 spd trans
The code for this one is beginning to look like 48-up serial numbers. The C (Canada)6 (46) 9 (V8) [8T ??] 81 is normal code for std cab truck, H is home office assembly plant (Ontario) and 13258 would be the serial number.
