Toggle Switch location

Ok guys, I am in the process of adding a few toggle switches to my truck. I am looking for your thoughts on where to put them. I need to find a convienet place to add 4 switches. on/off, on/off, on/off/on, and a monitary. I have looked at trying to fab up a plate to mount them under the dash but that runs into the convience aspect and the gear shift hittting it. Please give me some ideas of locations and if you have pics well, thats even better. Thanks for the help.

I run a jotto desk but they stopped making the model for our trucks so you could always look into a havis console.

Havis: C-VS-0309-F250: Console, Vehicle specific, 12" Total mounting space, Underdash mounting, Housing complete, Ford F-250, 99-07

Might be a little more than what you want but they are nice…

not sure if you have 4x4 on the floor or have a standard trans. If you have standard trans there are other options

Handshaker..we dont have much room, huh?. If 2wd, then install where the 4X4 switch would be, perfect sot, and nothing interfere's behind it..(have my wvo fuel gauge there). Another spot, and its where i mounted my switches, is the 1in - 2in panel, below the gauge cluster, perfect for the little on/off switches. I got 4 there also, 2 on each side of the steering wheel.

I saw someplace (wish I had bookmarked it) that was offering an f550 type center section for the underdash for cheaper. I will try to find it again later today. It essentially replaced the same area as the above described item, with a Ford part and stock look

Thanks for reminding about providing more details. I neglected to mention that yes it is a ESOF 4x4 so that section of the dash is out and it is a handshaker. Just to help on some of the other options available it has a full bench seat and no over head console. plan jane work truck. thanks for the Havis idea and i have thought about the riff raff dash but really like my covey hole for misc items. Thanks for the help guys and please keep more ideas comming.

Wild thought here - just spitballing. Can you install toggles in something like this? [LINK]

You can add a few switches (especially Toggles) in the location to the side of the column. I have a DP-Tuner switch in mine. Some have mounted the Carling switches in there too.

Another idea is if you pull out the factory stereo and install a single din aftermarket. The install kits come with a filler pocket. You could easily install a cover panel on them.

I kinda like the idea of the radio area. I have an aftermarket radio and actually have the space you showed in the picture. Think I might just try that. Thanks for the help guys and if you have another thought throw it at me. I will be working on this late tonight and tomorrow night.
