I am trying to figure out what would go in my remaining hole in the dash. Like all these trucks my truck has 6 holes stamped under the opening for the gauge cluster for the various *****. so far i have 5 of them filled. What would go in the hole closest to the steering column on the passenger side? I already have wipers, lights, a cig lighter, choke cable, heater plus a switch for hazards and a bezel for the hazards however those two are mounted in holes stamped on the cluster. So whats left that I'm missing, or what could go in the hole?

I THINK but cant remember for sure because it has been a while since I pulled mine apart so I am probably wrong but for some reason I think I had one that was a "dummy" whenever I pulled mine apart. But like I said I'm probably wrong. Ill dig through some pictures to see what I can find

It very well could have been. Mine currently has a chrome plug filling the opening, which looks fine but I'd rather use that opening for something instead of mounting an extra switch somewhere else (ie my headliner/console that I'm working on)

Mine is a dummy. Looks jiust like the other ***** but is totally non-functional, well except for filling that hole! Perhaps a good spot for some custom add on?

The furthest left hole right of column a lot of times would have a little stainless plug. Have a few laying around . . .In place of Flasher Light

i put a throttle **** in mine. no clue what was original equipment but it matches everything else (i.e wipers, cigar lighter, lights etc). you'll need it if you ever want to run your corn elevator off the pto on the truck. edt: btw i have the same style dash as you.

haha so do you think a choke **** would fit in that hole? I already know a headlight switch wont work (bracket in the way) but if i can move the choke **** to that hole i would be able to put my extra headlight switch in there

Hey Boss9,
What year is the dash pic of? Also what is the difference between the INst. cluster like yours and the type without the outer 2 gauges? My original '65 Cus. Cab. doesn'e have the outer 2 gauges but i picked up a whole cluster that does.
Thanks

give it a try just please don't drill the dash anywhere . i should take a pic of mine. i think it goes wiper, headlights, iforgotwhat, throttle, choke, heater. i did notice your ***** on the left don't look original but hard to tell from here. maybe originals fit better or something?
and why does the word **** keep getting #### ed?

my freakin internet is about to go down.
