So here i am again.. I replaced the old starter, starter solenoid, and battery after my mishap of hooking the battery up wrong, only thing that works is the lights and blinkers, No crank nothing, i got a test light check the starter and its getting no power. Could it be i fried the pos (+) wire from the battery to the solenoid?
Not sure why you replaced the starter solenoid, it has no power through it unless you turn the key so hooking the battery wrong would not hurt it.
The smoke you seen came from the fuse links hooked to the battery side of the starter solenoid and not the solenoid.
You need to start by trying to pull the fuse links apart and if they stretch they are bad.
Replace the bad fuse links and then tell us what else is wrong if anything.
Here is the diagram for your 1990 truck and Ford calls it a starter relay in the diagram below and not a starter solenoid.

Oh, Well thank you! Just wondering is that the wire(s) that has a black case around it?
No Idea what you mean by "black case around it".
Can you post or email me a photo?
My email address is at the bottom of this post.
I found it, haha. I was looking at the wrong wire. It should be in running order now, but the battery is now dead. So i have to wait for jumpers. Do you by chance know the required cranking amps for it? Its a 1990 for f250 460.
Just make sure not to cross the leads on the jumper cable or you'll be right back where you started, with a fried fuseable link. RE: the cranking capacity of the battery. You should have no problem starting the car with a jump so long as the car you are jumping from is on. from there you should be all set after a short drive . It you really want to know the cranking power required to turn over your vehicle just go to a parts store website, type in your vehicle and check out the batteries that they are recommending as a replacement.
I took my battery to the store they said its charged, i hooked it back up and nothing is happening when i turn the key no lights nothing. My Ignition switch is a little button, when i hit it i can hear the starter clank. I've replaced the starter and the starter solenoid.
