Crap truck is dead in the Walgreens parking lot.

Truck wont turn over even when you jump the sylanode. Checked fuese had one blown under hood and replaced still no crank. Battery is brand new but jumped it any way. it does not even feel like the starter is engaging. Batter y and sylonode is getting 12 volts. Any thoughts? Need help bad. I hope I gave enough info.

Thanks!!

It's probably the little metal strap that ties the +pole on the starter to the starter engaging solenoid has rusted through.
You can try jumping between the big pole and little pole on the starter while some one turns the key.

This is a normal issue for many after the truck is aged.
The starter brushes wear down and hang up in there holders.
Replace the starter and the start solenoid, clean the battery posts and terminals.
Nice to condemn the truck instead of repairing it.
Good luck.

If the battery is good, I would confirm that the cable ends are clean and tight, especially the ground. If you have the positive going directly to the solenoid then you do not need to worry about any other part of the wiring of the truck. Jumping the solenoid bypasses everything. I would take a jumper cable directly to the starter and positive post of the battery. If the starter doesn't turn, pull the starter. Yes, it could be stuck but taking the bolts out will free it up and you will hear it go clunk when you try to take it out. If it clunks, put it back in and try it again.

try this...just for grins....
remove the serpentine belt...then try restarting.
It maybe that the A/C compressor is locked up.
Or...maybe your head gasket took a dump and you have a cylinder er 2 full of cooolant
