I'm assuming that as Delvac 1300 meets or exceeds the requirements spelled out by Ford that it's fine for the 6.7 At $46 for 4 gallons, the price is hard to ignore.

I considered it, since it comes in 5-gallon pails, but it's not synthetic oil. I went for Delvac 1 ESP instead.

Should be fine, since it's CJ-4, but isn't it like 15W-40? What oil weight are you considering getting?

 

Looks like the 5W40 is only synthetic and the dino oil is 15w40...It was recommended to me by someone who has used the 15w40 in his diesel pusher. I guess I'll keep looking. Seems ridiculous to pay $30 a gallon for oil.
