Guys working on this truck has really expand my patience limit.
So far I have checked
- GPR all connection measure 12v even checked pin at PCM WTS comes on.
- all sensors connected CELL turns of when switch on
- fuses chkd incl 22 heater bowl removed.
The 3/4" nut on the solenoid is hard to get to tight do i need to remove the fuel bowl to this?
Do I need to test on the psi on the engine if the sensors are working ok?
I will probably go over all the steps and make a resume to see if I may have skipped a step but so far I have chkd all advices received.
I have may forgotten about the CPS probably at first. I ignore it actually since I knew that I replaced it in the beginning just when putting the truck to run the first time. But I've understood that their life time are unpredictable and can fail at any time even when its one month old?
Ok so I have measured according to the prev link and got the following
Pin A 3.5 ohml; B 585 ohm; C 2860 ohm. I guess my CPS had failed since the beginning.
The only advice I can give is to get a good one. Get one from Ford, or International. The ones you get from the typical parts store are about worthless. It never hurts to have a spare either since the engine WILL NOT RUN without that sensor.
If it were me, I would do everything I could to make sure i got one that was either a Motorcraft or Navistar part. Going with an off-brand like Wells is a gamble. They seem to be a 50/50 shot. Sometime you get one that works, some time you don't.
Also, the C92 sensor you linked to is actually for a Navistar DT466. It is supposed to work, but it is a different sensor for a different engine and works differently than the one for the T444E (7.3 Powerstroke).

Ho-leee . That price better include a goodnight kiss... International CPS was $27 at the local IH/Navistar parts/service center. Cool thing is, since they service a lot of work trucks, they're open all night, except weekends. Maybe you could find an IH/Navi dealer on the mainland who will sell one to you at about this price, plus shipping to the island. Still cheaper than the above, by quite a bit.
