Transfer case swap

I have a 85 f150 with a np208 transfer case with a slip yoke. Will a np205 bolt up to the 208 adapter or will I need the 205 adapter? I figure I will need a new drive shaft but I would have a bullet proof t case.

From reading lots & lots of info over several years, all Ford t-cases have the same bolt patterns. Clocking might be different, but best I remember the 208 in my 86 Bronco is about the same position as the 205 in my 79 Bronco. The shifter seems to be pretty much in the same location too.
