I'm new to the list. I'm looking to purchase 94-96 Bronco. Are you able to remove the caps off of all Bronco's in these years to make it convertible. I have heard conflicting opinions.
Cops who aren't Bronco freaks like some of us won't know it's supposed to have a CHMSL (3rd brake light), so don't sweat it. I know people who have added a brake light to the spare tire so it stays legal.
If you don't feel like searching for a T-40H (tamper-Torx) for the bolts, just get a small drift (punch) and hammer, & break the tiny posts out of the centers of the bolt heads so a normal T-40 works.
If you do a search, you should find several recent posts regarding different techniques for lifting & storing the top.
