Tailgate trim
I'm removing all the trim from my 1972 250 Camper Special to repair and prep for paint. It has the woodgrain applications on the side trim and on the nameplate panel on the tailgate. On the inside of the gate are 12 Philips head fasteners attached to brackets holding the panel. I'm trying to remove the panel without damaging it and am wondering if anyone has removed these. Are there more fasteners than those 12 I see? Several of the fasteners are stubborn and will need to be cut free. It feels like there's attach points along the bottom also?

Btw, they're usually held on with lil rivets. I scored a cherry decor plate ($6!) at the JY... took me about 45 minutes to chisel off the boogers with a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench.
