Coil springs

Just took off the coil springs on the front of my 86 f150 2wd.
My question is.....the piece underneath that the spring sits on, rotating this doesn't matter does it. It's not angled or anything is it.

I've got some pictures of mine from when I've worked on them. I really don't know if any of these will help you out or not, but I will post them for you anyway. If you need more or special ones, just let me know.

If you mean the spring isolator (a plastic/rubber "cup") no,it won't hurt anything. The isolator sits on the spring seat.As long as the spring is seated you'll be fine.
