Vent Window and trim Q's

I have been looking on the LMC truck website and I am wondering besides the square notch in the vent window for the 1992-1996, is there anything else different with the frame or anything differant than that of a 1980-1986. the reason I am asking is the local JY's seem to not care anything older that a 1990-1991 and i found some excellent contions vent windows and trim that my truck is in desperate need of. Thanks for any help.

My understanding is the frame piece between the vent & primary windows is bigger to accommodate smaller-sized main windows.

No idea about the vent windows themselves but I've seen it talked about here, might be able to find something useful in the archives.

The vent window is wider and the roll down window is narrower by 1/2". Your existing door would likely accommodate the whole assembly. If the '90 doors are in better shape all around you might want to swap them out depending on the $$$$.

Thanks you both for the input, Suprisingly my doors are in pretty good condition so I was hoping to keep them. But after looking into the cost of the whole door assembly vs the vent window and side window cost its like $25 more for the complete set-up. I think I Might just go with that. Just found out that there is a Bronco-Pickup swap meet a couple miles outside of town tomorrow so I should prolly go take a look at what they have before I buy anything else. Again i really appreciate the input and words of advise. Thanks again

Check some large truck wreckers in your area for a F-600/900 series.

I believe the vent windows and frames on those remained the same, 1980-1999, and will fit your truck. Measure them first though, as I do not have the Large truck books to cross reference.
