Number Dummy, I'm just shooting from the hip here, but is it at all possible that the badges could have been placed differently at different plants? I've seen two Camper Specials that I know were all original ( I knew the owners) and they had the badges under the front marker light. I've also seen a couple that were mounted on the cowl, but I'm not sure of the vehicle history on those.

Yeah I need to get that on there. It looks twice as good but I need to lower the front hitch a little so it might be a while.

i'll trade you a 1979 bronco and a 89 jeep yj both running straight up for the camper special UNTOUCHED......
