Hey yall just hit 220,000 mi on my late 99 psd. My mods are listed below and I plan on doing the hutch and harpoon in the next few weeks. Question is what are some other things I should be lookin todo. Im thinkin .50 cent mod which ive never had any trouble from the pin connector clips. Also thinkin turbo rebuild. When should that be done ? Anything other that yall can think of for my mileage would be awesome.
Change all the fluids (all of them). Change the serpentine belt. Inspect and change any hoses that look suspect. Do the 50 cent mod and re-torque the injectors and rockers.
I've got almost twice the miles you do and haven't had to rebuild my turbo yet. Just take care of your truck and it will take care of you.
i had my tranny rebuilt bout 25k ago and do need to probably change the fluid and filter. As for the other fluids....
-Oil and oil filter every 5k
-Fuel filter every 5k with oil change
-Diff oil needs to be done.
-Belt i replaced bout 3years ago with water pump
-Now the .50c mod i really want to do. i need a good link on a write up
-Re-torque the injectors and rockers i need a write up link swell
So by looking at the pictures on the 50cent mod when i go to install the quarter how is this done. Do i disconnect the connector slide in the quarter then connect it back ? Just want to make shure i do it right. Im also guessing the connectors will be brittle swell and i DONT want to break anything

The quarter goes in last....right before the valve cover is put into place.
Take caution when reinstalling the valve cover. It's pretty easy to accidentally bump one off the injector connector retaining clip and then have it fall out shortly after you get it running again. #7 seems to be the one that catches me out from time to time...
