Replaced my cruise control switch that screws into my master cylinder due to excessive leaking. Bought the kit that has the fused pigtail which I replaced as well. Sure was smaller than the double fuse holder pigtail on the truck....can only assume that was the part back then under recall.
Anyway the two wire female connector that comes from the vehicle harness to the new pigtail is severly damaged due to the brake fluid exposure. Anyone know where I can get that connector to replace it...preferably with the wires as well so I can make a good repair?
The attached picture is what I need. (stole picture from someone else...mine is trashed)
I got my ICP sensor pigtail from the ford house. The parts counter should have a book on connectors classified by how many positions there are on the connector. Match the picture up and they'll special order it for you.
I have the connector catalogue in PDF file but I don't know how to paste a link here . Me computer $tupid . If you like , you can pm me your email address and I will send it to you through an email . No Charge .
Thanks for the links. Tousley Ford guys helped me out also and actually recommended a fix they use in their shop. I cut the same connector off the old fused link which was still in good shape. Will cut and splice onto my harness. Not sure why I did not think of that but oh well.
