I'm in Stoney Creek not too far from you. Not much of a mechanic but I'm working on it.

Yes, mine has the cutout too. It helps bring more air in.

You will hear the turbo more. It shouldn't sound like an exhaust leak though. Have you looked closely at the manifold to head area? They can leak there easily and it is hard to see.

I do have the S&B Filter. The air intake on the fender side can be used in conjunction with the fender as another path for the air to travel. The AIS intakes use the fender with a sleeve to channel the air into the box.

I do have the intake tube running to the radiator support. I also have a zoodad mod and it works well with the S&B. Most often the air entering the box is not that hot from what I have found.

I like the clean look of the 6637 plus I don't really like having to clean the S&B and oil it . All I can get around here is the cleaner and oil for a K&N . Maybe I'm wrong though .

I bought the steel from lowes, I believe I got .22ga steel and used a brake to bend it up. If I had my computer at home I would post you a link to it but all I have is my phone I'm working outta town for the next two weeks. If you go to search and look up 6637 cai box you should be able to pull the thread up sorry I cant post it for you. It cost me about $50 between the metal and paint to make it. Your signature says you have an S&B cai why would you want to change that for a 6637?
