electric fuel options

I have a fuel leak on my 95. It has been leaking for awhile now and I am unsure if I want to fix it or swap to electric fuel. With stage 2s is it worth it and what is everyone running. I have seen the kits are pretty expensive so I am not sure that i wouldnt rather go with a build your own kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Several magazine articles from Diesel Tech, Diesel Power, 8 Lug and Diesel World of off the shelf kits like FASS, Air Dog, and XX Fuel System, do a web search. Also several people on this, and other sites, have done some version of a DIY conversion, do a site search.
There are very complete high $ DIY and some very minimal low $ DIY. There is one called a low buck electric fuel or something like tight wad mod.

there are several ways to build your own system. depending on what you want you will be looking at somewhere between $400 and $600 which is not cheap but is better than buying one from someone. I really like my e-fuel, it is easy to change filters and it smoothed out the idle some.in the long run I think it was worth it because I no longer chase radom fuel leaks. I will see if I can find the threads I used to help build mine

I agree. I think you'd be better off making the system yourself if you have the ability to. Just do a search on electric fuel. There are several threads that have very detailed "how - to's".

Tjbeggs built his own based on many other systems. It's by far the best thread, he has Napa part numbers and everything! I book marked it for future reference.

E-fuel was a fun project. My DIY e-fuel has been working great. I built mine for about $600 or so. Well worth the time chasing down all the parts. It also helped me so I knew exactly how the system worked since it was my first mod to the truck. Never had a diesel prior. I used powerstroke nation and FTE to make my setup. Mainly FTE!!! I have a decent list of part #'s that I used if u need any. Good luck!!
