One of the Dents I saw at post #11. I was a block away then. Swung by and see it's a F150 Ranger with vintage plates. Apparently hasn't moved in a bit.



One off the beaten path as I was avoiding the construction mentioned in #11. Either a parts truck or build candidate. There's a truck in the garage behind it but couldn't make it out.

 

Here's one I posted some time ago. Its located just a few miles from my house and its obviously in need of some care.

 

There is a flat black 73 f150 or 100 around the corner from me I need to snap a pic of. I've known this guy for most of my life and used to go to the church his grandpa preaches at. I'm curious if he's on here somewhere

I just saw a nice brown 2-tone pulling a 2 horse trailer with a camper. I didn't have a chance to snap a pic but perhaps I'll have a chance some other time.

 

I must see another dent once a week or so. Never get the opportunity to snap a pic, though.

 

There's an orange 73 highboy around my area. Belongs to someone who works at the Wells Fargo store in downtown Ironwood, MI. Also, I saw this red 2wd 76 with a long step side bed in Hurley, WI. And there's a baby blue 76 1/2 ton 4x4 with a flatbed running around Ironwood. Had snapped a pic of the orange highboy, but the photo never made it on any site.

 

About once a week, some snowbird has a 78d or 79 F250 or F350 parked in front of Round Table. Judging by the out-of-state plate, and the fifth wheel tailgate, I'd venture he's a snowbird with a fifth wheel. One day, I'll go chat him up...

 

I just passed a black square light 4wd going the other way dropping my kid off to school.

 

Saw this one yesterday when I had to swing by a friend's work. Had to swing by again tonight and it was there still/again.





I saw a couple more running up to the wrecking yard to get some brake drums. A Bronco and one or two pick ups. There was one at the yard that was in the "car lot" with the cars that were in too "good" of shape to part out. It actually looked like they were using it as a parts runner.

They have a few dented dents piled up in the yard. One of which has a pristine black bumper with the factory tubular brush guard. I was on the way to work and I couldn't take it. Not to mention I have no way of taking a complete bumper right now but maybe I can snag the brush guard next time I'm there.

I'm getting pics at an approx. 1:3 ratio. I saw the black 4wd again as I was coming back from the kid's school. I'll get him one of these days. I also saw a very nice brown 2-tone. It was in a driveway and the driver was chatting to someone, decided not to stop and take a pick of that one. I've actually seen several bump sides but.....

I have to go back to that wrecking yard today. I'll see if I can't get a pic of the junk yard dog.

 

Good news! The junk yard dog was still there.



And so was the brush guard that is going home with me some day.



Bad news the drum I picked up is not good enough to turn so I'll be going back.

I did see this one as I was turning into my 'hood on the way home. I don't remember seeing it before.

Here's my Dent spotting from the point of view from my dent, An interesting perspective. Here's my neighbors 77 F250 4X2. It has surface rust but other than that it's in a good restoration shape.

 

I don't think those ones are available, that truck seems to be a runaround for them. I can check to see if they do have some if you need them. They have several dents in the yard and tons of hubcaps.
