Truck Vs Deer

Well on my way home I caught a deer out of the cornor of my eye and before I knew it "BAM" I hit it on its left rear quarter. The hit sent it flying acoss one lane and into the brush were it laid wounder from my front bumper. I pulled off the side of the road, got out and ran to see if it was ok. I could see it had a gaping wound on its left reat quarter and couldn't stand up, so walked back to my truck expecting to see damage but there wasn't any except hair from the deer stuck in my bumper guard. I called 911 and they sent a sheriff out which put the button head buck out of his misery, we loaded the deer in my truck and he gave me a permit for the deer. I just thank god that I was driving my 65 f250, because anything else could of been worse.

Marky,
Glad to hear that young whitetail didn't damage your classic slick!

In the city, drivers must watch out for 2-legged youngsters that might run out in front of your vehicle; whereas in the rural areas of MI, drivers have to keep an eye out for four-legged wildlife!

So are you having fresh back straps with your eggs this morning?

I hit one Tuesday with my beater, well actually it hit me... These new tin cans dont hold up nearly as well. Took out 2 doors, a fender and according to my body man, tweaked the B pillar..
