Yep had one in my FORD garage . My niabor (can't spell) and best friend has a 03 max got it a month after a got mine this truck has 308000 on it . Chevy's have unit bearing problems , his first ones went out at 120000 and 155000 . We did drivers side last night , but just want to say how damn easy it was i could do it again in 30 min's or less . But want to say also ( listen Tyler ) that the MAX is one hell of a motor cause Bud is not the mantinance person and if he had a PSD not sure how that would go.
The hub or wheel bearings don't last long . Another friend has a 01 2500 with the 8.2 in it and let me say that motor is the badest gasser around, but just replaced driver side wheel bearing at 100000 . Look at it this way , good one 250 or so and 30 min's work. But Tyler i would not worry bout motor they are bullet poof cause Buds motor has had all injectors replaced but he doesn't take care of it and has run it out of fuel more times than i can count. They take abuse

I thought you meant bearings in the motor. I had to do a ball joint and tie rod end in mine. That's it since i got it. Mines an early 04 so I have the lb7 also right before i got it the guy did 8 injectors and all the lines.
Love it so far. But yes they can take some serious neglect before giving problems.
