Hi, I know I have a thread going about power steering. But this is a totally different question. On the same truck 2001 Mazda B3000 (Ford Ranger. For over a year now it has a squeak on the front end.
It is my Dad's truck and you know when he's home from work b/c you can here him squeaking down the drive way. The squeak has to be from suspension components. First, we jacked it up and grabbed and pulled on everything on the front end to make sure there wasn't anything loose. And there wasn't. Next we replaced the front shocks. Still squeaks. No alimites to grease. So, we drownded the front end in WD-40. Still squeaks.
You can push down on the front bumpers and fenders and the squeak is definately coming from underneath the front end. I don't think it is the coil over springs. It drives perfectly straight down the road. But something has to be worn out. What could it be? Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
